Tico Electronics was established in Costa Rica in the mid-1990s with a small start-up capital. In 2014, the company expanded to a second building and began the implementation of Lean methodology and Six Sigma (Green belt) training for all company managers. In 2016, Tico Electronics reached another milestone, becoming the first company in Central America to obtain AS9100 certification.
