- The company will open positions for profiles specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning, software development, cybersecurity, among others
San José, May 12, 2026. Technology company Feuji announced the expansion of its operations in Costa Rica with the inauguration of its new Services Center at Ultrapark 1 in Heredia and plans to create up to 150 new jobs over the next three years. This decision responds to the company’s growth and its strategy to consolidate Costa Rica as a key support hub for serving its client portfolio across Latin America and the United States.
Participating in the inauguration of the new offices were the Honorable Shri Pabitra Margherita, Minister of State for External Affairs of India, and Dr. Sumit Seth, Ambassador of India to Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.
“We are experiencing growth in our operations, and the new office symbolizes not only our physical expansion, but also our vision for the future. It will feature cutting-edge technology and spaces designed to foster collaboration and creativity, allowing us to better serve our clients and strengthen our position in the industry”, said Erick Ballestero, Vice President and Site Lead at Feuji Costa Rica.
The new positions that Feuji will open in the country will focus on profiles specialized in artificial intelligence and machine learning, tools and platforms for developing and implementing solutions using large language models (LLMs), as well as software development, cybersecurity, and shared services experience in areas such as human resources, sales, and finance. The company indicated that it will train new personnel through specialized instruction in the technologies it uses, as part of its onboarding and knowledge transfer process.
“Costa Rica has consolidated its position as one of the world’s most competitive destinations for the global services industry, thanks to an ideal combination of highly skilled talent, a stable and predictable business environment, and a strong track record in high value-added sectors. The arrival and expansion of companies such as Feuji confirm that the country offers the conditions to host increasingly sophisticated operations driven by technology and innovation. India represents a market of enormous strategic importance for Costa Rica, and we will continue working actively to deepen this trade and investment relationship, attracting more Indian companies that see the country as a reliable platform for growth in Latin America”, said Indiana Trejos, Minister of Foreign Trade.
Laura López, CEO of the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency of Costa Rica (PROCOMER), noted that “the expansion of companies such as Feuji reflects the type of operations Costa Rica has been consolidating in recent years: knowledge-intensive processes supported by specialized talent and increasingly integrated and multidisciplinary services. This evolution also confirms what we have been pointing out: multinational service companies project continued expansion of their operations in the country over the coming years. With more than 360 companies established in Costa Rica, the sector continues evolving toward increasingly sophisticated and efficient operations. Today, more than 130 subprocesses are being developed, and companies are increasingly incorporating technologies such as artificial intelligence (46%), automation (34%), and machine learning (27%).”
The new office will be equipped with cutting-edge technology and advanced artificial intelligence tools to customize and adapt its products to users’ specific needs. It will also incorporate automation technologies aimed at optimizing repetitive tasks, improving operational efficiency, and streamlining processes.
