With an investment of USD 10 million, the U.S.-based multinational<br>Resonetics, which specializes in the development of key components for medical devices,<br>inaugurated its second manufacturing plant in Costa Rica today, located in the Coyol Free<br>Zone, Alajuela.<br>This expansion aims to strengthen the company\u2019s manufacturing and technological<br>development capabilities in the country. The new 54.000 square feet building, which also<br>includes new offices and advanced production areas, will complement the existing facilities<br>within the same industrial park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br>Strategic Growth and Talent Development<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cResonetics is thrilled to be expanding our presence in Costa Rica. Since our initial investment<br>in 2016 with just 16 employees, our Costa Rica site has grown to be our largest, with more than<br>550 team members, and has been instrumental in our success serving our medical customers<br>globally. Costa Rica\u2019s thriving medical device ecosystem, highly skilled workforce, and strong<br>government\/industry collaboration have made this a location of choice to support Resonetics<br>continued strong global growth,\u201d stated Dave Mitchell, SVP Operations, Resonetics.<br>In addition to the US$10 million investment made in the construction of this new plant,<br>Resonetics plans to invest over US$15 million more in the next three years.
