This expansion aims to strengthen its operations and create new job opportunities in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This announcement was made by the company&#8217;s executives this afternoon during the inauguration ceremony, which was also attended by Crhistian Rucavado Leandro, the Deputy Minister of Economy, Industry, and Commerce (MEIC); Indiana Trejos, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade (COMEX); and members of the Investment Management team from the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency of Costa Rica (PROCOMER).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Clario, a company with over 50 years of experience in endpoint data collection, arrives in Costa Rica with a firm commitment to making a positive impact by creating opportunities. Clario believes in local talent, and with the opening of this office it will allow us to collaborate more with local partners, strengthen our global network, and better serve our clients with cutting-edge solutions. This milestone marks the beginning of our commitment to Costa Rica. We are determined to expand and create more and better opportunities for a great country eager to showcase its capabilities, which it well deserves,&#8221; said Dr. Johanna S\u00e1nchez, Site Lead of Clario Costa Rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the announcement of this new facility, located in Ultrapark 2, Heredia, the company plans to have 250 new employees in several areas by December of 2024. These positions include health science specialist, clinical project coordinators and managers, business directors, human resources professionals, data managers, and other high-demand profiles requiring advanced expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade, Indiana Trejos, expressed her enthusiasm for Clario\u2019s expansion in Costa Rica: &#8220;The inauguration of this advanced Clario facility is a resounding testament to Costa Rica\u2019s attractiveness as a prime destination for high-tech and value-added investments. This new office will not only boost our economy, but will also strengthen our capabilities in clinical research and biotechnology, aligning perfectly with our vision of sustainable development and technological progress. We are very proud that Clario has chosen Costa Rica to expand its operations, which reflects the confidence they have in Costa Rican talent and the favorable environment we have built for foreign investment&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe start of Clario&#8217;s operations in Costa Rica reflects the strength of our investment attraction strategy, allowing more medical companies to establish themselves in the country. This new investment will generate quality employment opportunities for Costa Ricans, strengthening our main export sector. In addition, it is a strategic project for the development of clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry in Costa Rica, which contributes significantly to the diversification of investment sectors&#8221;, highlighted Laura L\u00f3pez, General Manager of PROCOMER.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 11 facilities in six countries, Clario&#8217;s global team of science, technology, and operational experts has contributed to over 26,000 trials and secured 800 regulatory approvals for more than five million patients in 100 countries.
